Ask for Help

When you need help, ask for it. Life can be more complicated but it is up to you to make it simple. There are many people waiting to help, you just have to ask.

Houdini

a happy cat

My life started out as a blur. I barely remember anything apart from being thrown out of a vehicle and landing in the mud.

All that I wished for was a home where I would be safe and loved.  I cried for help.

My faint cries led the folks from RASTA to me and they found me soaked to the bone and struggling in the mud. I was a six-week-old kitten, found in the marshy area where pigs normally wallow.

When I was soaked and struggling in the mud, I didn't give up.  Instead, I reached out to others for help. I simply refused to let go.

Under RASTA’s care, I managed to recover completely and am now a happy cat enjoying a leisurely life at the sanctuary. Ask for help, and it will be given to you.

I'm Houdini and my life is simple and happy.

The RASTA Calendar 2020 is crafted with love by a total of 7 volunteers from 3 different organisations, RASTA, Mystic Lights, and Vyugam Business Consulting & Climate Emergency Solutions, who are experts in their area of work. We would like to take a moment to thank each one of them as well as the residents of RASTA for sharing their love and wisdom with all of us.
